Tai Chi involves a series of slow, meditative body movements that were originally designed for self-defense and evolved into a graceful form of exercise. According to the Mayo Clinic, Tai Chi can be used to improve health by: decrease stress, anxiety and depression; increase energy and stamina; improve flexibility, balance and agility along with other health benefits.
